Popular Nepali actress and model Subeksha Khadka has been appointed as the official presenter of the second season of the Everest Women’s Volleyball League (EWVL).
Organized by Infinity Dreams, EWVL is Asia’s first women’s volleyball franchise league. Subeksha Khadka will not only present the league but also take on the role of player auctioneer, becoming Nepal’s first female auctioneer in volleyball.
The second edition of EWVL is scheduled to be held from Bhadra 20 to 28. The official player auction will take place on Shrawan 2 in Kathmandu.
Subeksha Khadka is well-known in Nepal’s entertainment industry as an actress, model, TV host, and presenter. Her involvement is expected to greatly enhance the league’s promotion and visibility.
She previously held the titles of Miss Nepal International 2012 and World Miss University Nepal 2017, proudly representing Nepal on global platforms.
“We’re excited to have Subeksha Khadka as the official presenter of EWVL. This league is focused on women empowerment, and her presence will help elevate it further,” said the organizing team.
This season, six teams will participate: defending champions Karnali Yashvis, Kathmandu Spikers, Lalitpur Queens, Chitwan Shakti, Madhesh United, and Pokhara Ninjas.
Sharing her excitement, Subeksha said:
