Nepal’s star cricketer and former national team captain Sandeep Lamichhane has officially signed on as the brand ambassador for popular clothing brand Denim & Devil. The announcement was made during a special event held on Thursday.
The agreement, signed between Sandeep and Denim & Devil CEO Dhanashyam Kafle, will span a period of three years. While the financial terms of the deal remain confidential, both parties emphasized the strong emotional connection behind their collaboration. CEO Kafle noted that this is more than just a contract, highlighting how Sandeep has been closely connected to the brand since the beginning.
Sandeep Lamichhane shared his memories of the early days with the brand, saying, “I’ve had a long story with Denim & Devil. Our first meeting was back in 2018, and since then we’ve shared many wonderful moments. I feel proud to be part of the brand’s journey.”
Describing the event as more of a “resigning” than just a signing, CEO Kafle explained that Sandeep was their first-ever brand ambassador. The collaboration had paused for a while but has now resumed, which he described as bringing the family back together.
Highlighting Sandeep’s influence, Kafle added, “He is a brand on his own. He put Nepal on the world map at a young age.”
At just 24, Sandeep Lamichhane has already captained Nepal and played 62 ODIs and 62 T20Is, taking 127 ODI wickets and 117 T20I wickets. He has also scored 475 runs in ODIs, showcasing his all-round contributions to the team.
With this new role, Sandeep Lamichhane’s connection with Denim & Devil is set to grow even stronger in the coming years.
