Sabitra Bhandari, Nepal iconic women’s footballer and top forward, has officially parted ways with French club En Avant Guingamp. In an emotional social media post, Sabitra Bhandari shared that it was time for a “new beginning” and expressed gratitude for her two-year journey with the club.
Sabitra Bhandari thanked the club and fans for their support and said the past two seasons were an important part of her career.
“Thank you so much for the incredible journey over the last two years,” Sabitra Bhandari wrote. “I’ll always be proud of the progress we made during this time, and it will remain a big part of my career. Though it’s time for both of us to start fresh separately, I’ll always be grateful for the love the club and supporters gave me. Wherever I go, my support will always remain with Guingamp.”
Sabitra Bhandari also shared that the memories and experiences will stay with her, and wished Guingamp all the best for future matches.
During her time at Guingamp, Sabitra Bhandari played two seasons and scored a total of 7 goals.
While she has confirmed her exit from the French club, Sabitra Bhandari has not yet announced which club she will join next. Fans now eagerly await the next move in her promising football journey.
