The Nepal squad for T20I Tri-Series in Scotland has been officially revealed by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). The series will start this Sunday and includes matches between Nepal, Scotland, and the Netherlands.
Compared to the recent League 2 squad, a few changes have been made. Sompal Kami and Gulsan Jha are out due to injuries. In their place, three new players have been added—Lokesh Bam, Kiran Thagunna, and Rupesh K Singh.
Lokesh Bam has been part of Nepal’s T20I setup previously and brings experience. Kiran Thagunna has been called up to the national squad for the first time, while Rupesh K Singh, who was included in the squad during the Hong Kong T20 series, has not yet made his debut.
Nepal’s schedule in the series includes four matches: against the Netherlands on June 16 and 18, and against Scotland on June 17 and 20. The team heads into the series with good momentum, having won 3 out of 4 matches in the recent League 2 one-day tournament.
Here is the official Nepal squad for the T20I Tri-Series in Scotland: Rohit Paudel (captain), Kushal Bhurtel, Aasif Sheikh, Dipendra Singh Airee, Lokesh Bam, Kiran Thagunna, Rupesh K Singh, Karan KC, Lalit Rajbanshi, Sandeep Lamichhane, Aarif Sheikh, Bhim Sharki, Rijan Dhakal, Anil K Sah, Basir Ahmad, and Nandan Yadav.
