Nepal Cricket Team Schedule Announced for Australian Top-End T20 Series

The Nepal cricket team has officially announced its schedule for the upcoming Australian Top-End T20 Series. The tournament will feature 11 teams including Nepal, Pakistan Shaheens, Bangladesh A, Chicago Kingsmen from the USA, and several Australian Big Bash League academy teams.

Nepal is scheduled to play six thrilling matches, starting on August 15 against the local Northern Territory Strike.

  • August 15: Nepal vs Northern Territory Strike
  • August 16: Nepal vs Bangladesh A
  • August 18: Nepal vs Melbourne Stars
  • August 19: Nepal vs Hobart Hurricanes
  • August 20: Nepal vs Melbourne Renegades
  • August 22: Nepal vs Pakistan Shaheens at 3:15 PM

If Nepal reaches the final, the team will play a total of eight matches in the series.

Preparation for ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers

Nepal is using this series as a key preparation platform for the ICC T20 World Cup Asia and East Asia-Pacific qualifiers scheduled in October. The tournament has previously seen participation from well-known players like Haider Ali and Shahnawaz Dahani from Pakistan Shaheens, and Mohammad Naim and Towhid Hridoy from Bangladesh A.

This time, the Nepal team will also feature experienced players who have played at the senior level and participated in the Big Bash League.
