Liverpool Reject Bayern Munich £58.6M Bid for Luis Díaz

Liverpool have turned down Bayern Munich opening offer of £58.6 million for Luis Díaz, making it clear that the Colombian forward is not for sale.

The German giants had contacted Liverpool a few weeks ago to inquire about Díaz, but the Reds had already stated they were not interested in parting ways with the player. On Tuesday, they reinforced their stance by officially rejecting Bayern’s bid.

Luis Díaz, 28, is considered a key player under new head coach Arne Slot. Liverpool reportedly value him at more than £87 million. His current contract runs until the summer of 2027.

Last season, Díaz scored 22 goals across all competitions for club and country, including 13 goals in the Premier League. His contributions helped Liverpool secure the Premier League title, finishing 10 points ahead of second place.

There was interest in Luis Díaz from Manchester City during last summer’s transfer window, and reports suggest clubs in Saudi Arabia are also keeping an eye on him.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are actively searching for a new striker and are said to be interested in Alexander Isak, the Swedish forward from Newcastle United.
