Nepali referee Laxmi Shrestha has once again been selected to officiate in the Dana Cup 2025 Europe’s biggest and most prestigious youth football tournament. This will be her fourth time representing Nepal as a referee in this international competition.
The Dana Cup is held every year in Hjørring, Denmark, and features youth teams from around the world. With hundreds of teams competing, the tournament is not only important for players but also seen as a great platform for referees due to its professional management and internationally recognized refereeing system.
Laxmi Shrestha has already impressed in the tournament three times in the past with her outstanding performance. She is considered one of the leading female referees in Nepal and a trailblazer for women in sports officiating.
