Lalitpur Queens have retained former captain Salina Shrestha for the second edition of the Everest Women’s Volleyball League. The team used the tournament rule that allows each team to retain one player from the previous season.
Under Salina’s leadership, Lalitpur had finished as runners-up in the first season of the Everest Women’s Volleyball League. Her experience and leadership are expected to play a key role in the team’s campaign this year.
Lalitpur Queens have already appointed Utsav Khadka as their head coach, with Yugesh Hamal taking charge as the assistant coach.
The second edition of the Everest Women’s Volleyball League is scheduled to take place from Bhadra 20 to Bhadra 28. Teams will buy players through an auction system, which is set to be held on Friday afternoon.
