In the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Group E match, Mexican side CF Monterrey and Italian giants Inter Milan fought to a 1-1 draw. The match took place on Wednesday morning at the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena, USA.
Monterrey took the lead early in the game but couldn’t hold on to secure the win. Inter Milan managed to equalize before halftime, and both teams failed to score in the second half, ending the match in a stalemate.
Experienced defender Sergio Ramos, 39, scored the opening goal for Monterrey in the 25th minute. Ramos connected perfectly with a corner kick, heading the ball into the net to give Monterrey an advantage.
Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez responded in the 42nd minute, converting a well-placed pass from Carlos Augusto on a set-piece. His goal brought the match level just before halftime.
The second half saw both teams pushing hard to find a winning goal. However, neither side could capitalize on their chances, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
