Inter Miami and Palmeiras Enter FIFA Club World Cup Last 16 After 2-2 Draw

Inter Miami have officially reached the FIFA Club World Cup last 16 after a dramatic 2-2 draw against Palmeiras on Tuesday morning. The match, part of Group A, saw both teams share points but still progress to the knockout stage.

Inter Miami started strong with Tadeo Allende scoring in the 16th minute, followed by Luis Suárez doubling the lead in the 65th. But Palmeiras made a late comeback as Paulinho scored in the 80th minute and Maurício equalized in the 87th, denying Miami a win.

With this result, both teams finished the group stage with 5 points from 3 matches. Palmeiras topped the group on goal difference while Inter Miami also qualified for the next round.

The stage is now set for the round of 16 as Inter Miami continue their journey in the FIFA Club World Cup.
