The Vatsalya Everest Women’s Volleyball League (EWVL), is set to make history with Nepal’s first-ever women’s volleyball player auction. This landmark event will take place on Shrawan 2, as announced by organizer Infinity Dreams in a press release on Sunday.
The league will feature six franchise teams.
The open bidding format will see teams compete live to assemble their squads from a pool of national stars, emerging players, and promising young talent.
“This is more than just an auction,it’s a landmark moment for Nepali Volleyball”. For the first time ever, women volleyball players in Nepal will enter a professional system that values their skill, market, and identity. It’s a proud moment for us all,” reads the release of EWV.
The auction will be conducted in Kathmandu in the presence of league officials, franchise representatives, and media.
