The Nepal women’s national football team coaching staff has been officially appointed with key roles filled for the upcoming season.
Assistant Coach and Head Coach Appointments
Rajendra Tamang continues as the head coach, with Bhagwati Thapa reappointed as the assistant coach. Thapa has previously served in this role, bringing valuable experience to the team.
Recently, Belgian Pro-License holder Patrick De Wilde was named the new head coach, marking a fresh start for the team’s leadership.
Support Staff Roles Confirmed
Suraj Kumar Lama retains his position as the goalkeeping coach, providing continuity in training for the goalkeepers. Meanwhile, Bindra Dewan remains the team manager, a role she has held for many years.
Dr. Alisha Rai has been appointed as the team doctor, responsible for the health and medical care of the players. Shila Giri will serve as the physiotherapist, ensuring player fitness and injury management.
Additionally, Vikas Gurung has been named the kit manager, overseeing all equipment-related needs for the team.
Official Appointment Ceremony
All coaching and support staff received their appointment letters on Tuesday at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato. The ceremony was led by ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai.
