Mumbai Indians batter Suryakumar Yadav has been named the Best Player of IPL 2025 after a stunning season with the bat. His consistent performance helped Mumbai Indians reach the second Qualifier, playing a key role in their playoff journey. Suryakumar scored 717 runs in 16 matches, including five half-centuries, finishing second in the list of highest run-scorers.
Sai Sudharsan of Gujarat Titans claimed the prestigious Orange Cap. He topped the charts with 759 runs in 15 matches, which included one century and six fifties. Sudharsan smashed 88 fours and 21 sixes, earning him the award for most fours this season. He also won the Emerging Player of the Season title.
Prasidh Krishna, playing for Gujarat Titans, ended as the highest wicket-taker with 25 wickets, grabbing the Purple Cap for IPL 2025.
Nicholas Pooran (Lucknow Super Giants) hit the most sixes in IPL 2025 – a total of 40. Vaibhav Suryawanshi from Rajasthan Royals won the Super Striker Award with a stunning strike rate of 207.
Other awards went to Chennai Super Kings for the Fair Play Award and Kamindu Mendis of Sunrisers Hyderabad for the Best Catch, a brilliant grab dismissing Dewald Brevis. Mohammed Siraj bowled the most dot balls (151) this season. The best pitch and ground award was given to the Delhi Cricket Association. In the final, Krunal Pandya earned the Player of the Match title with two important wickets.
In a historic first, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) won their first IPL title by defeating Punjab Kings by 6 runs in the final. This was the first time in IPL’s 18-year history that RCB lifted the trophy.
