ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025

The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 will be hosted in India and Sri Lanka from September 30 to November 2. This marks the return of the tournament to India after 12 years.

Why Pakistan Will Play in Sri Lanka

Due to ongoing political and security tensions between India and Pakistan, the Pakistan women’s team will not play its matches in India. Instead, all of Pakistan’s group stage games will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, particularly at the R. Premadasa Stadium. This decision aligns with recent trends, as Indian teams have not traveled to Pakistan for sporting events.
