Nepal’s Help Nepal Sports Club has secured the bronze medal in the CAVA Champions League held in the Maldives.
In the third-place match on Wednesday at the Solis Centre in Malé, Help Nepal defeated Sri Lanka Ports Authority by 3-1 sets.
Help Nepal won with set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 20-25, and 25-23.
In the league stage, Help Nepal had finished third and Sri Lanka Ports Authority fourth, leading to this third-place playoff between the two teams.
Out of the six participating teams, both Help Nepal and Bishkek-Kyrgyzstan had collected 11 points each, but Help Nepal narrowly missed the final due to a lower point ratio, thus finishing third.
