Nepal is all set to face Bangladesh in the title clash of the SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship today. The final match will kick off at 6:30 PM Nepali time at the Kings Arena in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
This is a high-stakes match for Nepal, who must win in order to be crowned SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship winners. Bangladesh, on the other hand, only needs a draw to secure the title.
So far in the tournament, Nepal has shown strong performance, defeating Bhutan 6-1 in the first game and 8-0 in the second. Nepal also beat Sri Lanka in both matches with an identical 7-0 scoreline.
However, Nepal suffered a narrow 3-2 loss against Bangladesh earlier in the competition. Out of five matches, Nepal has won four, while Bangladesh has remained unbeaten with five straight wins.
Despite Bangladesh’s perfect record, Nepal leads in goal difference by six goals. But goal difference won’t be enough Nepal must win the final match to lift the SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship trophy.
The clash promises intense action as both teams battle for regional glory.
