Madhesh United has confirmed the return of Niruta Thagunna, the star spiker of the Nepal National Women’s Volleyball Team, as their marquee player for the Everest Women’s Volleyball League (EWVL) second season.
Thagunna, who delivered an outstanding performance in the previous season, expressed her happiness to continue representing Madhesh United. “I will give my best to help the team win,” she said confidently.
The club stated, “We are proud to welcome back Niruta, who led the team strongly in the first edition. We believe she will once again show her dominance on the court.”
Madhesh United has also appointed Kopila Upreti as the team’s head coach ahead of the upcoming season.
