Caspian Valley SS/ College, located in Kumaripati, Lalitpur, has appointed national cricket player Aarif Sheikh as its brand ambassador.
The official announcement was made during a program held on Sunday at New Baneshwor, which was attended by representatives from the education and sports sectors, students, and media personnel.
By appointing Aarif Sheikh as brand ambassador, the college aims to demonstrate its commitment to sports and promote a more balanced educational system.
The institution stated that this initiative is intended to inspire students to view sports as an integral part of their academic development, encourage youth to pursue careers in the field of sports, and honor and support national athletes.
“The purpose of education is not limited to textbooks,” the college said. “By choosing a successful athlete like Aarif Sheikh as our brand ambassador, we are reaffirming our dedication to promoting sports alongside academics. We aspire to produce the next generation of sports leaders in Nepal.”
Aarif Sheikh is a well-established name in Nepali cricket and has inspired many young athletes through his achievements. Now, he will serve as a mentor and role model for students at Caspian Valley SS/ College.
The college has also announced that students enrolling in Grade 11 will be offered opportunities not only in academics but also in sports.
