Joy Thapa Honored by Angels' Heart National School

Angels Heart National School, located in Manmaiju, honored Joy Thapa—a key member of the ACC Men’s U-16 East Zone Cup winning team—for his exceptional performance in the tournament. The event was organized to recognize the achievements of SEE graduates, including Joy Thapa, who also passed the SEE from Angels Heart.

Joy Thapa showcased brilliant cricketing skills during the tournament held in Malaysia. He scored 57 runs against Indonesia, 61 runs against Bhutan, and 24 runs against Singapore, helping Nepal clinch the title.

At a special program organized by Angels Heart National School, Joy Thapa was awarded a cash prize and publicly honored for his sporting achievements. The award was presented by School Chairperson Lil Bahadur Pun, Principal Tak Bahadur Thapa, and Sports Coordinator Suman Timilsina.

This recognition reflects the school’s commitment to encouraging both academic and athletic excellence. Honoring Joy Thapa not only celebrates his recent cricket success but also serves as motivation for other young talents.
