Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have secured their spot in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 final with a commanding 4-0 victory over Real Madrid on Thursday, July 10.
Spanish midfielder Fabián Ruiz was the standout performer, scoring twice in a dominant display by the French champions. PSG got off to a flying start, with Ousmane Dembélé and Ruiz both finding the net within the first nine minutes. The early goals stunned the crowd of over 77,000 fans at MetLife Stadium in New York.
Ruiz doubled his tally in the 24th minute, giving PSG a comfortable three-goal cushion. Gonçalo Ramos sealed the emphatic win just before full-time with the fourth and final goal of the match.
This has been a historic season for PSG. The club has already won the Ligue 1 title, the French domestic cup, and most notably, lifted the UEFA Champions League trophy for the first time in its history.
PSG will now face Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup final on Sunday, aiming to cap off a remarkable campaign with yet another major title.
