The 2nd Budhasubba Cup is set to take place in Portugal, one of Europe’s wealthiest countries, starting from July 13, 2025. Organized by Dharan Football Club (Dharan FC), the seven-a-side football tournament will bring together Nepali clubs and players from across Europe. The competition will be held at the Vitória Clube de Lisboa football ground in Lisbon, with around 20 teams from various European countries participating.
The main goal of the 2nd Budhasubba Cup is to promote mutual cooperation, teamwork, and brotherhood among Nepali communities living in Europe through sports. The tournament also aims to encourage and motivate Nepali football players abroad.
The winning team of the 2nd Budhasubba Cup will receive a cash prize of 5,000 Euros along with medals and certificates. The runner-up team will be awarded 2,500 Euros, medals, and certificates. Additionally, the best players in different categories will be recognized with cash prizes, medals, and certificates.
