Last season, Janakpur Bolts were led by captain Anil Sah. The squad also featured notable players such as Shubh Kansakar, Sher Malla, Kishore Mahato, Lalit Rajbanshi, Tul Bahadur Thapa, Hemant Dhami, Arniko Yadav, Aakash Tripathi, Bishal Susling, and Mayan Yadav.
These players are expected to be part of the retention list along with marquee player Aasif Sheikh. According to NPL rules, teams can retain up to six players besides their marquee player for the second season.
