kathmandu gurkhas have officially announced their list of retained players for the upcoming second edition of the nepal premier league (npl) 2025. the team made the announcement on saturday through their social media platforms.
the franchise has decided to retain their marquee player and captain Karan kc. joining him are Bhim Sharki, Dipesh Prasad Kandel, Shahab Alam, Pratik Shrestha, and Rashid Khan. these six players were part of kathmandu’s squad in the inaugural season of npl and will now continue their journey with the team into the next edition.
before Kathmandu Gurkhas, teams like Sudurpaschim Royals, Chitwan Rhinos, Lumbini Lions and Pokhara Avengers had already published their retained players list for npl 2025.
the nepal premier league (npl) 2025 will hold a mini auction in august. franchises will get a chance to fill their remaining squad slots during the auction process.
