The 2nd Women’s Futsal Championship 2082 is set to begin from Bhadra 18 (September 3, 2025) at Pepsicola, Kathmandu. Organized by Alison Sports Pvt. Ltd., the tournament aims to empower and encourage women across Nepal to engage in futsal and football.
Open to all women residing in any part of Nepal, the Women’s Futsal Championship will follow a league cum knockout format. Each team must consist of 8 players, one coach, and one team manager, making a total of 10 members, shared tournament secretary Rupesh Shrestha.
To ensure inclusivity, the tournament will be split into two categories:
- Junior Team: Players aged 16 and below
- Senior Team: Players aged above 16
National and ‘A’ Division players are also eligible to compete in the senior category, confirmed chairperson Sagun Thapa Magar.
Cash Prizes:
The Senior Category champion will receive:
- Winner: NPR 50,000 cash
- Runner-up: NPR 25,000 cash
- Trophy, medals & certificates
The runner-up will be awarded:
- NPR 25,000 cash
- Trophy, medals & certificates
Outstanding Player and Best Goalkeeper in this category will each get NPR 2,500, along with trophies, medals, and certificates.
In the Junior Category, the prizes are:
- Winner: NPR 20,000 cash
- Runner-up: NPR 10,000 cash
- Best Player & Best Goalkeeper: NPR 1,500 each

- Senior Category Registration Fee: NPR 5,500
- Junior Category Registration Fee: NPR 3,000
- Deadline: Bhadra 15 (Sunday), by 5 PM
Teams must submit the form along with ID proof before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted for match fixture listings.
According to Elina Magar, the vice president of Alison Sports, the inaugural edition in 2081 saw participation from 20 teams. This year, the target is to bring in at least 32 teams, giving a broader platform for emerging female talents.
